I stopped by Cabela's today not really needing anything but I figured what the heck since I was driving right past it. As usual I stopped by the fine gun room first and there wasn't much new and exciting so I browsed around a bit and was heading for the door empty handed when I realized I hadn't looked at the case where they put the used revolvers. I turned around and spotted it from about 10 ft. away. A like-new Magnaport Stalker with 2x Leupold for 799. Done!

I hate new gun shops. You walk thru the door, and you know what you will find. I love those little pawn shops. They might have ANYTHING in there.

Great snag, Gary! That's an unbelievable price! They're usually over $1200 with out scope or mount.

Does that mean you're up for selling the scope that's on it? Unless that's what TN Wolf was getting at, I'd be interested in it!

I really like my MagnaPort Stalker. Everytime I handle it I remember reading about Larry Kelly's many hunts with his. It has a permanent home in my safe.

Cabelas gets a lot of flack, some of it deserved, but that's one of my favorite places to look for a used gun. I've scored some great deals there!
