I went out last night looking for some pigs and came across this. One shot from my Ruger Blackhawk 4 5/8 inch 45 Colt using a 250 grain XTP at about 40-45 yards.
Sorry guys, I can't get the picture to load. It's on the bragging board.

Way to go Okie! A coyote is always a worthwhile adversary, especially with a revolver. Nice job!

Thanks guys. I made the grips my Ruger are wearing. Wolf, I had my camera with me but didn't have time to set it up. Bug, the XTP'S work but didn't expand. Still a dead coyote.

4 5/8 inch 45 Colt using a 250 grain XTP Perfection. Nice shootin' too!
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Congrats! Handgunned coyotes are always 'special'.
It's not the gun, but the man behind it.

Wolf, I had my camera with me but didn't have time to set it up. Ah, no worries. It's not easy to film and shoot at the same time, and coyotes barely give you enough time to aim. Great 'yote!

Sometimes it is entirely appropriate to kill a fly with a 12 pound sledgehammer!
