The normal moose season of Aug 20 through Sept 20. Probably hunt hard the last week. Brown bear will open locally Sept 1, & I really want to go after one hard.
Black bear anytime I can get out.
All with the SRH in 480.

The usual for me. My wife and I will be heading to south Colorado to hunt the 400 acres we have down there. We both have cow elk tags that start September 1 and go through the end of January 2015. I have a buck tag for second season, and we will both be buying an over the counter bull tag for that week as well. Then I also have a bear tag for the month of September. As soon as we get two of any of those animals, we will be set for the year for our meat.

Anything above that will be bonus, and will be used for having my field guys over for BBQ now and then.

Racksmasher, what is yours?? You started the thread, but no hunt listed??!!

Just whitetail for me. I hope I can find someone reliable to go duck hunting with, but that's obviously not a handgun hunt.

OOOOHHHH MAAAAN!!!!!! I wish you lived closer!!! I LOVE duck hunting! I need a duck hunting buddy myself. My dog and I have been a good team for 9 years now, but he isn't much for holding a conversation!

First will be a Black Bear hunt in Northern Maine at the end of August; my first and very excited about it! If drawn, I'm putting in for two Illinois whitetail hunts: firearm tag and primitive weapon/muzzleloader tag. Probably go to Alabama in January to hunt for whitetail with some friends. Might end up in NC hunting something
;\)
Other than that, I'll be hunting my usual at home: squirrel, rabbit, deer, bobcat, coyote and this year hog; on some new land I have access to. Who knows, may even squeeze in an exotic hunt somewhere.

Home chasin Carolina hogs and deer, supplemented by a Texas all-sports trip for deer/hogs/predators/ducks etc.

Have applied for tags on a couple out-of-state opportunities, so it's up to Lady Luck there!

I'm waiting to find out if I got drawn on any of the controlled hunts here in Oklahoma. Still I'll be going after deer during black powder season in October and gun season in November and hogs every chance I get. I would like to do a black bear hunt but will see how things work out.

Whitetails all season here in SC. Whitetails the week of thanksgiving in Roanoke, Va. Hogs anytime I see them while hunting here in SC. And maybe a black bear in coastal NC. All with my 45 Bisley. Whenever my conversion is complete I may drive out to Cody to pick it up and take a buffalo with it. But that will be probably next year.

Oh good! I was hoping you were going to be able to hunt something, and didn't just leave it blank because you couldn't go for some reason. Glad ya got plans!!

Hoping to get drawn for Kansas Whitetail with my primitive longbows and maybe a turkey tag there also.
Oklahoma deer, hogs with my pistols. Hope to draw for a primitive archery hunting on a Military Base and in the fall we are going to southwest TX for some pigs and porcupines with my pistols.

Mike

Max,

I'll be hunting with a good friend of mine: Jesse Cote; who runs "Back Woods Guide Service". You can look him up on facebook. Top notch guy! Works very hard for his clients and is very dedicate. He's located in Caribou, ME.

Headed to FL for a few meat hogs in June. Haven't decided the handgun yet. Will be hunting like a fool for whitetail this season. Starting with bow in Sept then hand gunning from Oct to Jan. Will be trying to bag the black bear that lives on the edge of my little farm I bought last summer. After seeing my trail cam shots several of the bear hunters I know say he is weighing in around 500+. I would love to bag him with either my magnum research 45-70 or my custom handgun in 475 linebaugh being built at this time.

Hippo and zebra in June. Whitetail in TX in December. The goal is to use my SSK Beast on the hippo and zebra. But I do have my 375JDJ ready in case I need it.
