Dude, I'm so jealous right now. Those fallow deer are downright awesome. Another reason to go to wilderness. They have fallow deer from mild to wild. I have seen one there that was pushing SCI world record status.

That was a 7mm International Rimmed. It was rechambered by Elgin Gates from a 7mm TC/U. That was 1986 and at the time it was ranked #2271 in the B&C book. The other B&W photo was 1984.

Very nice critters, Gentlemen! I'm almost ashamed to post..... My best two.... Taken with FA 454C. Taken with T/C Encore .308 Win.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Awesome Gary! I have taken more deer than I can count by handgun but for some reason big bucks avoid my handguns and step in front of my rifles.

The big boy was 183 5/8. Unfortunately, he was an estate deer. I could never find a free ranging one like that. He was on 500 acres and was not easy to hunt. I evened the odds by using my revolver. He's one of five animals I've killed behind a fence ever. Everything else the rest of my life has been free range. Despite that, I'm still very proud of him. Used 265 gr. Swift HP. Ran 5 yds.
