Getting back into T/C Contenders and out together once chambered in 7-30 Waters. Man, I am impressed with its accuracy.

5-shots from 100yds off of a rest. Nosler 120gr BT and 34.0gr of Varget.

I'm shooting 36 grains with similar results. Love the Waters.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I was never a TC fan. Always thought they were neat but until I really started shooting them, I had no idea how accurate they could be. It would take a REALLY good rifle to outshoot my 309 from SSK. It makes me look like a much better shooter than I am most days

I think the waters is probably one of the best factory barrels ever made for the contender. Great caliber in this platform! Nice shooting buddy.

I never thought much of them either till I picked this one up a while back,it is extreamly accurate. I only have the one barrel,it is a 14" in 30-30

I was really surprised at the accuracy. I have a T/C Contender in .223 and know how extremely accurate that particular handgun can be. I never shot a 7-30 Waters prior to this year, but wow!
