I have seen a few custom chambered BFR revolvers. Is there anyone that could build a custom one in 348 Winchester?

Sure they could! The 50 AK is based on the 348 Win case & their are several of those big boys in custom revolvers.

What is the OAL of the 348 with your favorite bullet?

Call Magnum Research's Custom Shop (number is on their website) and ask them if it's one of their custom shop chamberings. I wonder if the taper/bottle neck will make the case set back too much and bind up the cylinder?

They chambered them in .30-.30 Win so some taper and low pressure is ok apparently. I'd check with their custom shop as they can probably tell you if a .348 works or not.

Not 348 Win, but there is one in 375 Winchester on Gunbroker right now.

Yeah I browse the BFRs on gunbroker fairly often as well as freedom arms.

Seems as though bullet selection would be limited.

Seems as though bullet selection would be limited. To say the least. There isn't much out there.
Rod, too.

There area few options especially in cast. Hornady also makes the FTX in 348 now.

A 10" revolver is going to run at least 600 fps slower than a 348 rifle, and finding a hunting bullet that will "work" at that reduced velocity may be a problem.
Rod, too.
