I have several Bisley revolvers and I see them talked about on a lot of forums...and for good reason. Now, I own more plowhandles as in some guns, I prefer them. Most of the guns that I hunt with are Bisley's, however, my main big game hunting revolver is a Flattop 44 special and it is not a Bisley. With that said, even as much as I love my 44 special Blackhawks, my absolute favorite centerfire revolver is the Bisley 357mag. I have a couple of them and they are just fantastic. They shoot like a rifle, have virtually no recoil with even the hottest loads, love heavy bullets and just beg to be shot. They are not very common and they seem to have gotten really high priced as compared to a plowhandle. But, in my opinion, it is the cat's meow for the 357. Do any of you guys have one or any experience with one?

Awesome, you got my attention on this one! Gotta love a pistol that shoots like a rifle. Enjoy!

Gregg, to someone that shoots like you, they all shoot like a rifle. For me, not so much, and these guns make me look like I know what I am doing. The Bisley grips and 7.5 barrels make me look like a better shooter than I am.
The top gun is my 180/200gr gun that sees some deer hunting in specific places. The bottom gun is my 150gr gun that is my "go to" varmint gun. They will both shoot either grain equally well, I just had the top gun first and had it set for the heavy bullets and when I got the bottom gun, decided to set it for 150...then I could just pick one up, based on what I was doing at the time.

I love all revolvers. I had a blackhawk in 357 once and sold it because it was never quite like a Colt. Now, when shooting 44's, I love the plowhandles. I always thought that I would like the Bisley,,, but shot a couple of friends guns, did not enjoy them at all. It is just me.

Those two .357's are beautiful! I gave my daughter a Blackhawk .357 for a present when she graduated high school, and it looks like it may get a little deer hunting time in this year. I think the .357 has been, unfortunately, a little overshadowed for some by the 44 over the last few years. It is still a very awesome, effective round.
If it were supposed to be easy, they'd have sent my little sister to do it.

Thanks guys.
I have a deer population problem in my "yard", so I figure that these 2 will get to do some hunting at home as soon as Oct gets here.

I agree the bisley grips and the 7.5 inch barrel make me look like I know what I am doing. The problem is when someone else picks up the gun, shoots it, then figures out I'm not an exceptional shot and that it's just very easy to shoot well with that gun.
