My local gun shop had generic bullets . Gave them to me at a reduced price.they are listed as 44 cal 245 gr cmj-fp .looked in 4 manuals and dont find any thing for this bullet.Came in clear plastic bag no manufacturer name. 200 bullets in the bag. Any ideas.. should they be loaded like cast and what powder? Any help please and thank you.

Frontier makes a 245 complete metal jacket-flat point. They say to treat like FMJ as far as data goes.

Just found that myself . My books show load data only too 240gr for jacketed fn... would 5 grains make that big a difference?

If in your shoes I would start with a midland 240 FMJ load.
