my wifes best friend brought me her late fathers revolvers for some maintanence and clean up. there are two .357 Blackhawks a .44 Super Blackhawk and a Single Six. been stored in a closet in an old suitcase for about twenty years, all are in good mechanical condition mostly rusty hammers, triggers and backstraps. need a rear sight on the stainless Blackhawk and some new grips on the Single Six but all should clean up well. the best part is I get to keep one of my choice as compensation,i am torn between the stainless Blackhawk and the Single Six.

The stainless Blackhawk is pretty, but the two-tone called out as soon as I saw her...

Super Blackhawk, hands down. The one pictured seems to have a bit of field wear started. I'd for one be glad to honor the man by wearing it in right and proper.
