Stopped at a local gun shop and there sits a new single seven 327 federal . Asking price was $ 525.00 . Thought about it but just cant spend the money. Still a nice gun.

That is a pretty neat little round. It is a shame it didn't become more popular. I think it would make a great short to medium range coyote revolver in a relatively light weight package. I see speer gold dots on Midway USA, 100 grain bullet at 1500 fps. Speedy little guy.

Did you give it a real good look? I have been hearing a lot of complaining about the fit and finish of these.

Rod, too.

I have the 3 inch barrel SP101 and I am already in love with the cartridge. But a little longer sight radius would be a boon in the field. Especially in a reasonable package. I'm even considering getting a contender barrel in .327.

Did you know that there are magical animals roaming wild, converting vegetables into bacon as we speak?

Those little Single-Sevens have 3 barrel lengths and I want the 7 1/2 barrel for coyote. A 100gr flat point should do the trick.

I picked up mine this morning. Everything looks good as for a finish. I'm going to the range this evening to see how everything else works out.

That is good to hear. The complainers always seem more eager to voice their observations than the happy campers.
