Currently, I own 2 Ultra Dot 30 mm red dot scopes. One is on my sons muzzle loader and the other on my 12" 357 Maximum barrel.

With that being said does anyone have experience with the Ultra Dot 6 or Match Dot II?

leverman, I have two Matchdot II optics; one is on a Ruger Mark III, the other is fitted on a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter in .44 Mag. I like the options given from 2 MOA to 8 MOA with choices of reticle patterns. I've yet to have a problem with either. One is used on squirrels while the other deer and such. I'm getting ready to explore their new Micro HD model. From my experience, the Ultra Dots have performed flawless.

I have an Ultradot 6 and love it. Still torture testing it, though, to see if it'll stand up to some heavy recoil. I'm sure it will......I've mounted it on my .50 Alaskan -- we shall soon find out.

I don't think I can go wrong with either one. Which ever one I choose is going on a T/C Contender chambered in 32 Winchester Special.

McGowen barrel with a 1:16 twist shooting a steady diet of cast lead bullets with a gas check. Hope to have the project ready for the late doe season in December.

I used one on a .44 Magnum and .45 Colt. Never a problem.
