Hit up a local pawn shop and found a really nice set of stoney mountain shooting sticks with tripod adapter and paid 29$ for them , I then noticed a nice SRH in .44 mag topped of with a pentax 1.5-4 scope. Long story short I went back this morning and traded a glock 21 and 100$ for it now I am in the doghouse LOL.

I call any trade where you can dump a block, er glock, for a Ruger a good one.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I have only ever sold 3 guns. Sold 22 mag to buddy and he wont give it back been trying for 20 years . Sold my first shotgun... damn thing never shot to poa. Never missed that one. Traded my uncle 760 30 - 06 for the greates bird dog i will have ever owned . Miss the gun but i miss my dog more . Damn shame bird dogs cant out last there owners . My glock may not be pretty ... has no soul.. by god its a shooter... i trust my life to it. Sits half an arms length from my head every night and protects all my other guns... my dogs and my family. That gun stays.

Glock 41 with 45 Auto+P 220 gr FlexLock® Critical DUTY® newest carry gun. Have been carrying a Glock 35 (40 S&W) and Glock 20 SF (10mm auto). Not as hard hitting as Ruger Bisley .45 Colt or S&W Mountain Gun .44 Mag but 14 rounds of 45ACP+P doubles the changes of settling the issue successfully. Taylor stopping factor 13.8, not the 20+ of .44 Mag or .45 Colt but hopefully enough for deer and similar size critters. Glocks are ugly, reliable, sort of like what the wife says about me. No tattoos, etc for me, or engraving for any Glock.

My two favorites are: 14" 22 match T/C contender and a 7 1/2" 22 lr M97 Freedom arms, both equipped with cross-hairs.

Don't want to see this turn into a p***ing contest, but I'm also a big Glock fan. Reliable, accurate, pure functionality. As for the Glock 21, sounds like a .460 Rowland hunting gun waiting to be built :-)
