Where can i find the load data on hard cast bullets 158-180 grn that are 1400-1500 fps? i have looked in 3 books, only jacketed bullets at that velocity..

I think you will have to look at loads for the contenders for that velocity range. The newest Lyman cast handbook does list loads for the cast bullets you mentioned.

I bet the Hodgdon annual magazine has some. I'll check one of my old ones and see.

Check the T/C loadbooks

A Hodgdon technician advised me that cast bullets can be safely substituted for jacketed bullets. The velocity will be slightly higher and the pressure slightly lower.

Lyman 49th edition has this in the T/C Contender & Encore section.
