David White built this LR XP-100 for me, but this is some of the first pics I have taken of it. It was consistently hitting out to 600 yards in field shooting @ SHOTS. In fact, it probabaly shot better than any of my XP's that week until the barrel started getting fouled.
Chunk Youngblood, Greg Tannel, and David White have built tight-necked accuracy XP's for me and all of them have been outstanding shooters. I will put their work in my XP's up against anybody

Here is another view. Picatinny base is 20 MOA from Ken Farrel. On my other XP's I use Near Manufacturing (Richard Near) Picatinny bases. Both mounts are extended forward to enable a center-grip shooter using a 3-12 Burris LER to get a full field of view when shooting prone. This can be important in the field.

Ehh??-- wasn't that the 115 Tubb u were shooting out of it Ern?? Do u think it's better than the 105 A-Max for L-R varmints?? What twist does it need?? I was thinking of trying it out of the 243 WSSM Striker.

The scope-- isn't that the 8-32X Burris/Ball. Mil-Dot?? What do u think of the reticle, and at what magnification r the stadia subtensions calibrated for?-- should be a dot on the power ring somewhere.

Thanks chucky.
Barrel is just a bead blasted SS Broughton. Action has a bead blasted baked enamel finish that Chunk Youngblood did when he built this pistol orginally in 284 Win. Chunk still does bolt rig work and I highly recommend him. Stock is an H-S that was painted with a store bought 3-D system so when you turn it different ways it changes colors.
