I haver decided to sell my 454 I realize that it is too much gun and I have decided to go to a small caliber (357) I plan to ask 1200.00 it has a Bushnell 2x6 scope. There is a dent on one grip panel think this is a fair price.

That's a fair price. I bought one just like that for 12k off gunbroker a year ago. Good luck, sorry for your loss.

I just think that there is someone who will use this to its full potential. It is the best revolver made hands down

Does it have the replaceable firing pin or is it fixed? What is the fit like on the grips? Are they smooth all around or are there edges where they meet the grip frame?

Hold on to it just a little longer, there's a guy coming over this evening to get a kidney from me so I can buy your FA. Said it would be simple as pie.....

Shoot, for a kidney you should be able to by a couple of them ;-)
Rod, too.

Gary I have no idea about the firing pin, the grips are smooth and are well fitted I have not have them off. 26 watchers must be waiting till last minute

Dog, Another viable options is the FA in 41 maggie. I just acquired one and it's very accurate and a pleasure to shoot; not that the FA 357 isn't, I gots one 'em too.

Well its in the safe I listed it twice on GB and had a few watchers but no bidders. One person emailed me and offered me 800 if I would pay shipping and his transfer fee... Jumped on that right... SO gun season opens in Indiana on the 15th of November and I loaded some 255 SWC and 11.2 of Unique I do not have a chronograph, seems this FA wants me to keep it

Well it shouldn't depreciate for sure. Why not post it in the classifieds here for a while and see what happens. Doesn't cost a thing and it may just remain in the "family" here if you can't find a load you like.

M D..GunBroker bidders are a funny lot. You never know how they will act. lf its any consolation l think your $1200 price was very reasonable. Quite a few of my IHMSA buddies shoot the FA Silhouette model. With all the sight options its very easy to put $2500-$3000 in one lts also amazing to watch these guys shoot hand size groups at 200 meters with open sight FA S

I hope your new load shoots well and that you keep your FA. You don't need to firewall it for it to work well, but at least you will have the wiggle room to load it hot if you ever get the desire.

Dog, I'm shoot'n 20.5 grs of 2400 under a 250xtp in my M97 FA 45colt and it's plenty good medicine for medium game. Out of 5.5" barrel it's clocking a tad over 1200fps. Here's a few test medias.... No bullets were retrieved from any. This load isn't bad in my little M97 and should be a real pleasure to shoot in the M83.

Well bow season is under way. First I need to explain I am 60 year old disabled vet with 80% hearing loss after my 22 years. I have a small buck and doe both taken from a stand at 30 yards.

MD,
First and foremost, thank you for your service!
Secondly, congratulations! Well done on some good game for the freezer.
Let us know how the reduced loads work in the Casull...PS - my last Casull deer was not taken at full throttle
