OH YEAH!! I can see the charlies dropping all ready!! The 3-12 Burris will work great. I use the Harris "S" swivel bi-pods and a sandbag under the grip.

Go for the 6br, which is the smallest Harris model, at 6-9" model. The 6BR model works the best for my handguns

Looks like mine. It too is a 22-250. I have the Burris 3x12 Posilock, Harris 6-9" non-swivel. Right now it's in for a bedding and trigger job. They are sweet shooters. I know the center grip is easier to hold off-hand, but the trigger on the rear grip can be fined tuned to a much greater level because it doesn't need a transfer bar. This will provoke some comments!

Yup I got the BR set of bi-pods, 6" to 9" with the swivel. Here is the sandbag I use made by Protektor. It's 3" round 8" long and I think they call it the sissy bag. The 2X4 makes it the right height, and the clips make it easy to carry on a belt loop when walking.

They do come with ballistic stickers that "approximate" the zeros. I've gone away from that system tho, and simply convert each stadia's subtension to MOA, and match it up to the computer program's zero calculations (most computer programs now calculate drop in MOA). MOA = inch per hundred yards / 1.05 or for the 3-12X LER Ballistic Plex it'd be--
1st stadia = 1.4" @ 100 yds./1.05== 1.3 MOA
2nd = 4.1/1.05 = 3.9 MOA
3rd = 6.8/1.05= 6.5 MOA
4th = 10.1/1.05 = 9.6 MOA

Bullelk, Won't argue with on the ability to have a better trigger with a rear grip. You also get a faster locktime. For a pure varmint rig or comp rig rear-grip has an advantage. But if I will be hunting with it also, make mine a center-grip single-shot But that is just my preference.

The XP-100 is usually way more accurate than the shooter behind the trigger. XP Sale Link $bob$
