I have a Leupold M8 4x extended eye relief scope on my Bisley hunter. I bought the #5 and #7 flip up caps online from Butler Creek. Neither one fits. Does anyone have this scope and uses flip up caps. If so, what size caps fit? Thanks

I have the M8 2X and have flip ups on it. I'll check the model's when I get home. The ocular lens cap should be the same as your 4x; that'll get you halfway there.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

The Leupold 4x uses the 03 on both ends.

I see there is a 03 and a 03a. One is 1.3" and the other is 1.388"

Mine has the 03A on the ocular lense and it fits good and tight. I bought the recommended sizes for my 2.5x8 leupold and every time I shoot my 454, I have to look for my covers.
