Best of luck to all my N.Y. brothers this weekend,hunt smart and safe, as handgun hunters this is what we wait all year for.Looks like it"s going to be a white one.

Between the tail-end of bow season and throughout gun season, I let lots of young bucks walk, and took one decent doe to put some meat in the freezer and bloody the "new" Contender. Very, very slow year again in my local (southeast suburban) woods.

Very slow here as well. First time in 13 years I did not connect. My son did get a tasty button buck. 14 years old. used my old Mossberg 500 12 guage.
