I'm looking for some load data with 335gr cast bullets in a 45 colt at moderate speeds. Not looking to beat myself up too much.

Hornady load manual has some good ones.

What cottonstalk said. Low recoil, accurate, and will get you 1050-1100 fps.

Wish I could find some HS-6. Powder still scarce I'm these parts.

I haven't seen HS-6 in years, literally. I have about 1/4 pound left that I am saving for special purpose. True Blue is similar in performance, if you can fine it. I have been using titegroup for my reduced loads lately as I have a lot of it.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

If moderate speeds is what you are after my starting load of 19.5grs 296 with a 155 primer should put you in the ball park. off the top of my head it was running around 985fps. Velocity rises sharpley with each half grain. 22.5grs got 1209fps. reflex264

I just learned a little bit about HS-6 today. I like Titegroup for my lighter loads. I use it in my 45 Colt and also in the 500JRH. I also use it to load trap loads in the 12 gauge shotgun.
Not many people around here use titegroup, so when it shows up, I'm about the only one that buys it. A case of HS-6 went off the shelves overnight in the same store earlier this week.
