I'll be going out Monday. Lost archery and early ML season due to surgery. I live at the junction of 3 different zones so can't decide where to go. I would normally hunt the mountain, but with the pgc caving to the I can't find deer within 100 yards of the road cry babies and changing the rifle season regs in 4C to buck only I'll probably stay south of the highway since the freezer is empty. Wherever I go it will be slow hunting in thick cover with the gp100. Once a deer is down I'll probably relax and sit more open areas with my Bond built custom xp100.

Good luck guys! I've been out for bear, but haven't seen anything. I'm off from work for the entire deer season, so I'm really hoping to get one!!

I'll be using my T/C Contender in 7-30 Waters.

My dad and I - plus a few friends are heading to our cabin in Potter County for the opener on Monday. I will be carrying my TC Contender 358JDJ with Bushnell Elite 2x6 scope and an iron sight Ruger 44 Magnum (RSB Bisley or Redhawk).
My dad is 84 but he still gets after them a little.
All you other PA handgunners be safe and have a great time enjoying God's creation.

You should see some of the deer hanging at the N.Y. border camps after the P.A. opener.

Not messing around this year. I want to try my 416-06 JDJ out this year. Probably will just take the 480 revolver though
