I'm thinking of getting one of these and wondered if any of you are using one and how do you like it? Also regarding the loading sequence on a T7, POWDER ?. Where and how are you adding powder? I use a single stage RCBS press now and a RCBS Power flow scale / dispensing system. I'm hoping to expedite the loading process with the T7. ?? I welcome all your thoughts. Thanks.

FAH, I have a single-stage press set-up on one bench. The press itself sets on the right portion of the bench with a powder dispenser located on the far left side. On another bench I use a Redding T7 turret system mainly for pistol cartridges such as 357 Mag., 10mm, .44 Mag., ect. It also is set-up basically the same; T7 on the far right and a competition powder dispenser at left. Other than not changing dies on the T7 -- don't know if it offers any speed advantages but I sure like it. All of the Redding equipment I have used (dies too) has been top-notch including the T7.

FAH,

I work my T7 pretty much the way that Mark does. I replaced an old Lyman Spartan that was worn out. However, it will take several generations to wear the T7 out, I expect.

My T7 is set for a couple rifle calibers. This is an excellent press. For pistol ammo I use a Dillon 450 which is one of the first ones they made. Excellent press. Excellent guarantee. Excellent company. The newer version is the 550B. I converted mine to auto powder measure and primer feed when that upgrade came out. After more rounds than I can count shooting IPSC, PPC,
NRA action not mention hunting I wore the primer feed and powder measure to the point that it was junk. I called Dillon to order a new set up and they asked me what was wrong with mine. I told them I had worn it out and would gladly pay for new parts. They asked me to send it in and sent me a whole new system for both primer and powder feed for FREE! They are real proud of their "No B.S.Guarantee". The press itself is still going strong and is sure to outlast me.
