Wow, I am beside myself. I just went through my safe and found a NIB 657 Classic, unfluted cylinder and 7-1/2" heavy, full lugged barrel, hiding beside my M29/629/625 collection. It was a JSC special run I think. ....So I opened it up, found 100 rounds of 210gr factory loads, and now I have to go to the range tomorrow. I hate keeping things unfired! Anyone else forget about some guns they bought and put away, and found later?

The problem I have is that I forget where I put some of 'em. Then someone will ask about a specific gun or caliber and the hunt is on!

He does have problems! He's short. This gun was probably on the upper shelf of his safe and he couldn't see it. Gerry likely got a new step stool for Christmas (after wearing out his old one) and finally looked on the "tall" shelves again!

Dan, you are right on with that one! However, I can see the top shelf, but the gun was behind the ones I had lined up. And yes, a stool would probably come in handy because I do have my safe lifted ~6" in case my sump pump fails. When you're 5'8". another 6 makes a difference.

James, That's it...and we are only 33# away in HHI membership. Very cool. Been a member for a long time. We have to get together and shoot. I think we're pretty close to each other.
Maybe have another try at a pig hunt?
