Matt got his first coyote ever and a deer new years day. Taking your first yote with a handgun is pretty cool.

That is one fine looking Coyote! Congratulations! I too was a handgun hunter before it was cool . . .even scoffed at! But then again I was listening to Classic Rock before it was Classic! There is something very special about handgun hunting is better experienced than described. Good Shot!

nobody had more fun poked at them than me as I stalked through the woods with my open-sighted M29 or Blackhawk .45 Colt, as my brothers and uncles rambled around with the scope sighted Rem 760 30-06's. Even when I got deer and they didn't, they still thought I was stupid, not cool for using a handgun. No, they still don't use a handgun! Too bad for them!! Bought my M29 in 1974 and still use it, or one like it today.

thanks guys. the gun is a superblackhawk hunter 45 that was wearing an acp cylinder that morning. i hit the coyote running at 60 yards. this is one of my proudest handgun kills to date.

He fitted the acp cylinder to the hunter. We are experimenting with .45 Super loads from the revolver. 44 mag power with much less noise and recoil from the 7.5" barrel.
