After over 15 years of handgun hunting I have come to the conclusion that I'm just not a big time revolver guy. I love my single shots. There are a handful of single actions I may move and wanted to give HH members a chance to get them first. I did not post this in the classified section since I'm not 100% on selling...and maybe this bit of group therapy will swing me one way or the other.

Anyhoo....I have an ultra sweet Blackhawk .41 Magnum customized by Rod Huelter. Complete action job, rebarreled (factory barrel) with a new crown, etc, etc. It's been reblued with a bead blasted finish. Also has new after market grips (can't remember the brand). It would also some with ammo, dies and brass. But since it was built by a friend I have a reason to keep it. But everyone here knows Rod and would appreciate his craftsmanship. See the problem?!

The other is a Super BH .44 Magnum, Hogue grip, poor mans Express sights, smooth cylinder, 7.5" barrel.

Both of these are shooters but just not my style. I've tried and tried but just never take them out of the safe. I'm kind of in a step back and regroup spot in life....doing the same with my fleet of cars, animals, and finances. Nothing is wrong on the family aspect of life, just a change in priorities and see that certain things I have way to many of.

I have four others...2 Hunters (44 and 45) and 2 BH's (.357 Mag and .45LC--wife bought it for me). I may sell a Hunter but not sure which.

Would anyone be interested in talking me into keeping or selling these guns?!

I might talk ya out of one of the blackhawks, specially if it is a super blackhawk. I like the wider trigger and the wider hammer spur on them compared to the blackhawks. I've been thinking of doing a 22 magnum rebuild with Jack (or some other small caliber), and I like the Super Blackhawks. Can't imagine the blackhawk being that much different, but I do like the difference in the hammer and trigger. If one of them is beat up a little bit, I'd be interested in it. I can always decide on the rebuild caliber later on.

It's in great shape. Only one that was beat up I sent to Rod and had him recondition it.

Bummer. You'll get more out of it than I want to put into it then. Pretty nice selection of guns you listed there!!

I have way too many as well, but heck, they need company!

And maybe we can meet at Cabela's or work something out.

You will nearly always regret parting with a handgun.
That said, I also might have some interest in the .45 Hunter.
