I have a new to me 7x30 waters 14" contender barrel on the way to me. I have ordered dies and bullets to try out. I ordered nosler 140 grain and Speer 120 grain bullets to start with. I have RL-15, IMR 3031 and 4064 powder to play with. Any suggestions or pet loads for deer you would recommend.

Also, anything special about necking down 30-30 brass to 7mm. I have necked down 444 to 375 with no problem. Is fire forming necessary?

Yes.

I don't have any of your powders so no help there.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.
