Been looking for one of these for a while, but since I don't buy new guns it took me a while. Performance shop 460. The gun is a beast and so is the round. Left to right. 460, 45lc, 44 mag, 357 mag, 45acp and 9mm

Expansion is fine, penetration is final.

That's a beast! Love the .460 cartridge.

That same gun, without the gills up front, was my first hunting handgun. I took a buck with it, and it's what got me hooked on hunting with handguns. I prefer the single shot platform for the 460 now, but the revolver got me started!
Congrats on checking one off the bucket list!!

Excellent choice! That is one fine looking revolver, my friend! I love the 14" barrel and brake.

They are a amazing hunting gun, your not going to make any friends at the bench with the muzzle blast from that brake, what optic are you going to use?

It is currently wearing a nikon 2 power force scope, but am thinking of swapping that for a burris 3x12 with ballistic plex that I have sitting in the safe.

Right on - let us know how she shoots! Will do. If it wasn't single digit temps when I get home from work I'd already have been out.

NICE! Like the long barrels on revolvers if the caliber is good for the distance. I like the break. I'm looking for a 460 in a Ruger or maybe a Encore pistol barrel. I have shot the Ruger and it rocks in the 100yds I was playing with it. With a 2x scope we could hit clay birds on the burm all day. Mike

always great to see something checked off a bucket list, congrats! I ordered one when they were introduced a few years back. After waiting 6 or 8 months and S&W not acting like they gave a damn, I cancelled my order and went with a BFR. I'm glad I did for a bunch of reasons, but when I see one now it still tempts me. I hope you have fun with it!
