Some fun earlier in the week, a 17HMR Silhouette Woodchuck:

One woodchuck patient enough to stay put for 2 shots, 128 yards, 9.5" full bull Bellm made 17HMR with Williams rear Silhouette and TC Front sights, two dovetail locks to enable mounting the Super 14 forends, Western Gunstock Thumbhole grip, Hornady 17Gr. V-Max 17HMR, and a fence post which doubled as a rest. Now that was fun

BTW, the 17HMR 17Gr. Hornady ammo chronographs at 2350 fps out of this 9.5" Bellm made barrel. Not too bad, only losing 200 fps from the 2550 fps published velocity in rifle length barrels twice this long.

Way to go, Sean. Only way to improve that woulda been to shoot it from creedmore position. Congrats!

Hey Sean - Good doins !! Dno't know if you remember me, but I traded you a 375 Win Hunter for the 22 WRM barrel. Have you shot the 375 much ? I have been working wiht it recently along with a 375 carbine barrel that I picked up. That 380ACP sure looks like a shooter. Wouldn't be for sale , would it ??

Aye, I remember! I ended up trading that 375 off in order to develope another project. No, my .380 barrel isn't for sale anytime soon

I bet you are having fun working up the 375win carbine. Those can be real kickers in carbine format. What sort of scope do you have on it?

Sean - Working with the 375 carbine hasn't been exactly FUN !! I scoped it with the Burris Short Mag and it seems to be a good scope for the carbine with the longer eye relief. Given the recoil, I need it ! It shows promise to be a shooter. Just received some Barnes 210 grainers that will go to the range with me this week.
