I am considering letting mine go and wonder what it is worth. I have some pretty high prices in the past.

I have too as much as 1300. Now is not the best time to sell but I would list it on gunbroker with a healthy starting bid and no reserve and see what happens.

If any Hunter model commands a premium, it will be the .45 Colt version. I would be inclined to hang on to that one.

I don't want to let it go, but my income is entirely based on SS and the price of oil and i need to downsize my gun collection.

it looks to me like .45 are hard to find, but 44 are listed for $650 - $1150 and everywhere in between; some scoped, some not.
Bottom line is ....it's worth what the buyer will pay.

Yes the 45's are hard to find as there were only 400 or so manufactured.

You can get $1600 if it's in good condition and you set it up on a two week auction. Set it with a $1200 starting bid and a buy it now of $1600. You will be surprised.

I just sold that exact gun a month or so ago. Paid a little over $700 for it a year or so ago. Put it on gunbroker in auction format with a "buy it now" price of $1300, which I thought would be ridiculous. It sold at $1300 before the auction was half over. Mine was used and looked all but new because I clean my guns after every trip to the range, or when I return from a hunting trip. There were no dings, nicks, scratches, or anything. It pretty much looked new. The guy that bought it said I could have listed it for new had it not been for the burn rings on the cylinder.
