Our friend Mark Hampton has just returned from another hunting adventure. I'll let him chime in with the details of his hunt.

Thanks guys and thanks Darrell for posting. I just returned from west Texas hunting with Rowdy McBride on the Clayton Williams Ranch -- 78,000 acres. I took this Armenian mouflon on the 4th day with an H-S 260 Rem. at 220 yards. The sheep are very skittish and are free-range. It was a challenging sheep hunt and I was thankful for the experience.

That is indeed a beautiful ram Mark! The handgun is almost as pretty!
Have any plans for a new book?

Ken, I'm trying to get as many sheep as possible before old age creeps in -- and it's creeping pretty fast!

Vance, I think I've got one more in me but there are a few adventures I'd like to get under my belt first.

Many Thanks

What a great way to start the Year of the Sheep :-)

ps I'm starting to discover that old age doesn't creep in, it gallops.

Excellent shooting. I bet the terrain is tough on the body.
