There is a good sized gun show (1000+ tables) at the Harrisburg, PA - Farm show complex on Sat March 21 & Sun March 22nd. Doors open at 9:00am. My son and I go every year. Its a great break from cabin fever and a good opportunity to buy gear. Last year I picked up my stainless RSB 44mag, Bisley with 3 3/4" barrel. A Lipsey limited run. I also got powder and mag primers that I could not find in stores. Bargains can be found. I will be there on Sat when the doors open. Does anyone else on our forum attend this show?

I'd love to attend, but I've got two hard strikes agin me. One, I'm in Georgia, two, I've got guys (and one gal) coming in for a shoot at my place.

So thanks for the invite. I've personally seen amazing things grow from simple invites like this.

Attended the Harrisburg gun show yesterday. Picked up some H-110 and H-4895. You will be happy to hear that my son traded a rifle for a like new Contender in 223 with a Bushnell 3200 2x6 scope. His first Single shot, hunting handgun. There were 800 tables with about 5,000 or more 9mm semi autos and hundreds of revolvers. We found 3 Contender frames and about 10 handgun length barrels. No Encores or G2s. He wanted a Contender over a G2 anyway. He got a great deal.

Congo Rats. Am I to assume he is a grown man, not a child any more? I'd love to get a .223 or .357 for my encore. I'm not even sure if they make them that size, but it would be neat. I'm not looking to order one, just 'come across one' in a little shop.

He is a grown man with a young son that I can't wait to take fishing and hunting in a few years. He has been a handgun shooter for many years but he is just starting to transition to handguns for hunting.
