I'm considering getting a 7.5" Ruger Blackhawk Bisley.

I currently have a 5.5" Stainless Convertible Bisley of the same chambering. But, would like the longer blued flavor to compliment it.

What say you guys? Worth it?

Why not?

I had one just like it, until I cut the barrel to 6" and D&T'd a scope base. It is now my goto hunting revolver.

I wouldn't mind having another, in unmolested form ;-)

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Probly cheaper to dt and scope a sbhbisley than to buy a sbhh 45 used... and im beginning to think hell will freeze over before there will ever be another run of bisley sbhh in 45lc.

I am getting tired of waiting for the 5 1/2" Bisley. I wish they would make a 5 1/2" Bisley 44 mag also. Cmon Ruger you know there is a market!

I bought one a few months back. Nice gun, simple, nostalgic. Haven't shot it as much as I'd like though.
