Has anyone ever used the Weaver pistol mount system? If so, what did you think of it?

I don't know of a Weaver pistol mount system, per se'. I had an exceptionally poor experience with Weaver products and customer service last fall. Cost me over $100 for equipment that wouldn't hold up and service that wasn't competent.

I'll never use them again but best of luck with your shooter.

If you are talking about the no drill mount I have two. One on a 4 5/8th .45 colt with 250 gr hunting loads and a 10 1/2 in. .44 mag and both are holding well with no problems.

What type of sight are you using with that no drill mount?

I've got 2 of them and so far no issues. I did put felt inside the clamp that goes on the barrel.

Which Ultradot? I have found the 30 doesn't fit between the rings.
