My son and I were shooting Sunday . He has a new to him 7-30 Waters and one of my 4x scopes , He says the scope is clear and clean for him but it was so fuzzy for me I could not shoot groups with it. He has 20-15 vision and I sure don't but I can't remember when I looked thru someone elses scope and it was so blurry.I can still see 30 cal bullet holes at 100 with my 4 powers but couldn't se a 50 cal hole with his. I know we as a group see a lot of different scopes that belong to other people is this common or do I need a seeing eye dog. I have looked thru a lot of different scopes and this is the worst case for me.

Does one of you wear glasses and/or have longer arms than the other? One or both of the above would alter the focus especially if he is at one end of the spectrum for both, and you're at the other end...

Yes I do wear glasses now @#$%^#$%^&*#$$@,comes with getting older $#@*&^% I guess. Around the same height he's a bit thicker thru the chest. He's outside all day pulling wrenches and digging in the dirt {gas co.] I work assembly line. I've looked thru lots of scopes on other peoples guns just never noticed this much difference before. Don't know whether to blame it on Mother Nature , Father Time , or that Murphy fellow .
