Young Grasshopper...A good barrel junky will have extra barrels on hand to keep from running out of projects...and to keep from getting cranky!!

Aaahhh...yes, young one. At first you must gather a large collection very similar items...Contender barrel for example. When attached to a frame and wear like hardware (Pach's, wood, etc) they all look very much alike...it is a rare female that can tell a scoped .22LR Contender from a scoped .338JDJ#2 when entering or exiting the house.

When you branch into other handguns you must tell her of the first purchase then buy more later that look like the first!! That yound grasshopper is the secret!! AND...pay cash as often as possible...elimnates the papertrail...

I have a confession, oh wise ones. I, too am a barrel junky, but I have grown too fond of one of my barrels. She is so smooth and shiny, and never puts a bullet outside of the ten ring. Oh masters, I fear I am settling down with this barrel and I may never again sow my oats with another barrel. What advice can you give an unworthy soul?

In just TC's I've now got eight 14" Contender barrels and six 15 to 17" Encore barrels and two frames for each.....got a brand new 15" Fox Ridge heavy barrel in 7mm08 back in Feb. sitting here that I've yet to fire or even mount on a frame.

No more barrels for me....I mean it this time....honestly fellas I'm done....trust me on this one....really I've now got all I want or need.

By the way anyone got a 15" Encore barrel in 6.5x284 they'd want to part with ?
