Please shed some light on the best velocity range, in order to maximize bullet performance, to stay in with hardcast LFNGC, or WFNGC in the .454, .480 and .475. I like to run 300 gr- 340 gr in the .454 and 400 gr in the .480 and .475. Thanks

I personally don't like to run 'em much over 1,400 fps as the nose can deform if you push them too fast when they hit something hard like bone. Since they aren't relying on expansion to do the deed, you don't have to push them hard at all.
Alloy hardness have significant impact on accuracy/velocity ratio so you have to test your own combination. I have LBT moulds 325grs WFN with GC. Didn't have a chance to test it in hunt yet but I was testing the accuracy. I used w-w alloy with water cooling afterwards. Using H110 I had best group at 1400 fps. Above this, accuracy start suffering big time so I just stopped there.
