Went to the range today. Took the 223 XP and 20 test loads. Found 3 loads with 50 gr VMAX that seem promising. Posting picture of the groups, all shot at 100 yds. The dimensions shown on the picture are outside to outside measurements.

Looking good! Try that tight 4895 load again to see if that flier still hangs out there.
