>22 ammo is getting easier to find here; Cabelas has it and so do a few other stores. How is it in other parts of the country?

Its been good here for a while. Wal-Mart is still hit and miss but the local G.S. has had several pallets.

Haven't seen a lot yet. Was in Cabelas last week in Michigan and they had very little.

Lot more miss than hit here. I'v been getting several arrival notifications from Midway but usually too late when I check in.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

It's not the gun, but the man behind it.

My local Wal-Mart has some in stock for the first time in . . . a long time.

They have some Remmy Thunderbolts at the LGS for $50/500 but I refuse to pay 10 cents a pop for 5 cent ammo that cost 3 cents a couple years ago.

No .22s, but walmart here has the best selection of handgun ammo I've seen in 2+ years

I picked some up the other day 2000 rounds it was not way over priced I think I paid $32 / 500 -- still what I consider a premium but not crazy.
The funny thing is they had it stacked to the ceiling at Canada tire-- Canada Walmart $18 / 500
That was almost two years ago when it was non existent here in the states.
Thought about brining some across but not worth the risk.
If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.
