All I got on hand is H110. I'm not loading out to the second cannelore. So my book says 20grains is max load. Anybody go higher with H110 and XTP's on the first cannelore ? PS I know I spelled cannelore wrong lol

Have found that H110 shoots great out of my 15 inch TC Encore with 180 XTPs, and have gone past 20 grain with H110 but at the end of the day Lil gun still works better. Knocks the snot out of Michigan whitetails and have the vids to prove it!

Sounds good. But why is Lil Gun better ? I've heard others claim AA1680 is best. Also heard IMR4227 is best and others. Just wondering what makes one the best.

I doubt you can go wrong with any of those powders, honestly.

You ask what makes Lil gun better, what I got was a load that was accurate, fast and got the job done! The loads I worked up with H110 were very accurate maybe the very best and I would not bat and eye if that was all I had. In the end I chose Lil gun and a butt load of White tail's will attest to how well that load works. Choose the load that works for you and what works best out of your gun then go for broke, Good Luck.

PS I know I spelled cannelore wrong lol Have you checked your throat to see if you can seat long? Most factory Max barrels are pretty roomy tho. To answer your question, yes, even without seating long. But, keep in mind that the Max has been accused of stretching 'Tender frames with heavy bullets pushed to the hilt so work your way along slowly if you decide to go there.

Thanks everyone. Yes they fit if I seat them out. But I'll stick with the first groove and published loads.
