It's been a while since I got the hots for elephant hide and ordered a full 14sq ft black hide, which went to Big Rob's Gun Leather. He made me a couple of pancakes and a belt out of it, with half the hide left. By the time I got around to actually working with it myself, I had already bought another in what they call "vintage bark". So here it is, a Paladin holster with a full elephant overlay. I've already ordered another 18sq ft hide to have plenty for the work I have planned for it. Just for myself, a full concealment rig with three or four holsters. Plus a complete field rig for the custom Ruger .500 and matching custom knife that's in the works, including a full flap holster, 2.5" gun belt, cartridge slides and knife sheath. I might even do a shoulder rig with it.

Purdy!

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.
