I just happened to have the tube on the outdoor channel tonight and the show Gun Stories is aring an episode about big bore handguns. Only halfway through it but it is quite informative. Nothing I didn't already know but it's nice to see some TV love for our addiction. Joe even shoots a BFR 45/70
Rod, too.

I saw it too, good stuff! I snickered when Joe said "the 500 S&W has a muzzle velocity of 3,000 foot pounds."

Just found out that same episode is also coming on at 12:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. central time tomorrow morning, and again at 4 a.m. Monday morning.

I could have sworn he also said the 475 Linebaugh fires a .465" bullet.

I could have sworn he also said the 475 Linebaugh fires a .465" bullet. I DVR'd this and watched it last night. He did say it's a .465". A few errors aside, I found it pretty interesting.
