I finally got around to checking my trail cameras this evening. These guys happened to have their picture taken by one:

Suppose both of these walked out in front of you within a comfortable shooting range. Which one would you take?

I would take the best first shot I got on either one but I really like the one on the right!

Probably the one on the right because I would like to see the one on the left next year.

The buck on the right, I think he will score a little higher, the one on the left has a broken brow tine, both are nice bucks!

Line 'em up and do a two-fer. Takes all the indecision out of it!

Which ever one got in my crosshairs first. But the one on the right would be my 1st choice if I actually had a choice.

I would shoot the one on the right due to the other's broken brow tine.

The one on the right. Although I would take the one on the left if it was my only shot. I will agree that the one on the left will likely be better next tear. Both great bucks.

Eh, I'd probably pass and look for a nicer one ;-)

Truth be told we will not likely have that opportunity during our firearms deer hunting season as the big bucks tend to part ways at that time of year.

Rod, too.

This is a picture of the buck on the right from last year:

I thought someone got him during the juvenile hunt or muzzleloader season since he abruptly stopped showing up about that time, but he obviously survived. I think I had some pictures of him back in 2013 too, but I no longer have them saved. You know, considering the history I have with him, I'd probably go for the buck on the right as well.

Looks like it is going to be an exciting season this year!
If you get the one on the right, I would love to see a series of the pictures you've taken over the years.

Yep, I'm definitely going after the buck on the right. He turned out to be one bruiser of a buck. Here's what he looks like now:

Here's the other buck:

(On the right)

Gun season can't come soon enough.

I think I'd roll the dice and shoot the one with it's head down and hope for the best.

Not for another two weeks. Muzzleloader season opens tomorrow, so I'm going to accompany my dad or sister to see if one of them can get either of those bucks.

And, she got him:

Guess I won't have to make the decision after all.

I made a post on the off topic board about our hunt, for those interested.

Your sister may be the real Hunter in the family 😉 let her start using your handguns, I bet she could get the job done 😁 Congratulations to your sister 👍

I'm trying to convince her to try shortguns, but it looks like I got her hooked on smokepoles instead.
