I haven't posted in a while but I have been creeping around reading articles and post. I recently purchased a new toy and wanted to show it.It's the .460 version and I used a Weigand X frame base with weaver steel rings and a Bushnell scope. I shot it open sights but have not had a chance to shoot it after adding the scope. They have a lot less felt recoil then I expected. I imagine once I get it onto a bench its going to be an awesome shooter.

Awesome shooter is an understatement! They shoot like crazy. You can take advantage of the innate capabilities with the optic.

I think I want to buy a set of the wood grips from S&W. Does anybody know how their fit and finish is on this gun and how much it may affect the felt recoil? I am not a big fan of the look of the rubber grips that come on them bc I love the look of nice wood grips on revolvers. I think they become a functional piece of art with nice grips.
