Do you have one load per revolver that does it all, or do you have multiple loads for each revolver, depending on what you are hunting?
I have one load for my 45 Colt, at least for now. I run a 335gr hardcast with 23.3gr H110. Same for my 460. I run 37.5gr H110 with a 300gr XTP MAG. They are dialed in very well, and I most likely won't deviate from them much at all.
However, for my Brute Squad, I run two loads. One is 10.8gr of titegroup with a 440gr hardcast. The other is a full dose of H110 with the same bullet. Both are very accurate loads, it just depends on how much recoil I feel like dealing with that day!
So what's your poison? One load to do it all, or multiple loads for multiple species?

I used to have several. But with limited range time these days, I have one load for each that I keep them ready with and boxes of ammo loaded. I always have others I like that I have written down and possibly loaded but the majority of the time, the loads will always be my go to load. I don't hunt anything crazy so just about anything will work for pigs and deer and less stout vermin so it's not like it's a tough choice for me.

just one load, and just one big bore revolver. a 240grn .44 swc at 1200fps +/- dose all that i need it to do. then im kind of boring, just white tails, paper and a steal plait now and then.

I lean toward the one load per revolver camp.

I used to load plinker ammo for my 45 Colt so my kids could enjoy shooting it but then got a 45 ACP cylinder to take care of that. I am pretty much a one load kinda guy.
Rod, too.

Depends, I have certain loads that I shoot in all my revolvers is a given cartridge, ie: the Skeeter load in all my 44 Specials. In my 44mags, I shoot either a 250K with 9.5 grains of UC or a 240XTP with 296 powder.
I don't have a lot of free time to develop loads for each and every revolver, so I use what works best in the majority of them.

I like the "plinking loads" idea. Reason I asked the question, is because now that powder is a little more readily available here, I've thought about getting a pound of this or that, and working up some different loads. That way, if one of my favorite powders isn't available, I at least have a load worked out using something else.
But then again, maybe I'll just save the money, and work on it when / should the need arise.

I have a handful of different loads for my 460. The issue isn't finding powder where I live, it's finding the right kind of powder, so it pays to have experience with a couple of different powders in case the ones I normally use are unavailable.

I am a one-load kind of guy. I like to find the one that is capable of everything and then I practice with it and become very intimate with that loads characteristics.

Multiple loads in just a few handguns. Mostly a single load for each, for simplicity.

Some guns, I have one load for. Others........multiple. Just depends on the mood or what I have on hand.

Usually 1 load per gun unless I am developing different loads for different reasons (deer load vs prairie dog load in the same gun). Similar ballistics, different levels of accuracy requirements and cheaper bullets are considerations.

Cannot count all the different loads for different revolvers I have. Always experimenting....However, my Freedom Arm`s m-83 41 mag only has two main hunting loads using a 210 XTP or Swift.. Last month I pulled bullets from a bag full of handloads that were not as accurate as I would have liked... Keeps it interesting for me...Lets start with my 44 mag handguns. I have a 5" S&W Classic, 8 3/8" m29, Redhawk, FA`s m83 and Dan Wesson 744. Each of these 44`s has a different load according to their strength. And then I`ll use different bullets to find what`s best Like I said it keeps interesting...

One load at a time per revolver. I work up a load and sight the revolver in and practice/hunt with that load until either the mood to change or the lack of components strikes me. Then I work up another load and stick to it until the next change.
