Ok so i have a 5.5 inch bisley blackhawk 45lc. Would like a Lefthanded holster to carry it in . Would like a nice western style holster perhaps cross draw. I know theres a lot of great leather smiths but a custom is not in the budget for the moment. Would like something to carry it in for deer season. Did i mention i need a Left handed holster...

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Galco makes a great crossdraw for a single action.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Guess a holster for hunting ... doesnt belong on hunting.. but on shooters bench... thanks for the correction?.. didnt find what i was looking for. Question for you guys... being that its a bisley blackhawk ... will the grip frame change the fit verses a blackhawk?

Yes a little...the Bisley will require about 3/8" longer retention strap than the SBH/BH..but many cheap(er) holster will be generic anyway so this will probly not be a problem.

Mister, why do you carry a 45? "Because Sam Colt don't make a 46."
