This afternoon, I headed out to another patch of woods I had scouted yesterday, one that was teeming with squirrels. The wind continued to howl as I sat down at the base of a tree and waited. Well:  Got three more gray squirrels! The last two (middle and bottom, respectively) were taken only inches apart on the same branch in a span of about ten minutes. Another one came by about fifteen minutes after that last one and stopped in the exact same spot, but I had stupidly holstered my gun. When the squirrel saw me draw it, it ran off. Oh well. I shot at about three or four others but missed, and I saw several more than that. All in all, it was a pretty productive evening.

Nothing better than a mess of greys fried up golden brown with mashed potatoes and gravy and greenbeans with fresh biscuits.Nice shooting Chance!
