Does anyone have experience, good or bad, with the Federal Cast Core loads in .357 and/or .44 Maguum? I think these may be a little "less hot" than the specs advertised by Buffalo Bore. To be used in S&W models 586 and 29 and most likely a Super Blackhawk also.

During the ammo shortages of the last few years Federal Cast Core had been listed as discontinued by several sellers on the net but l see it listed o the Federal website..lts great ammo in 41 and 44 mag.. Very consistent and accurate...

l personally do not care for Buffalo Bore... lts too hot. lnconsistent and overpriced

Pricey, yes, but I have found Buffalo Bore ammo to be amongst the most accurate factory ammo I have ever shot out of a variety of different caliber handguns, and I have tested a lot of it.

Cast Core ammo is very good. Yes, not loaded very hot but don't get caught up in paper ballistics. They are meaningless.
