I have a Ruger super blackhawk hunter for sale in the classified section. Who has one? I need yall to talk me out of selling it. The reason I'm considering selling it is I prefer my redhawk over it and it is hard for me to get used to the grip. I traded it at a gun show for a model 94 30-30 which I didn't need.

I won't sell my two....

There's someone in the classifieds wanting to buy a Hunter.

If it was 45 colt, I would have to have to do some explaining to the wife.

I'm going to keep it. I just put the scope on it and with the rings used the scope looks off center?

I was in the same boat a couple of years ago. Had a SBHH (.44)and liked it but then I got a SRH (.44) and loved it! I sold the SBH to get another SRH (.480). The grip on the SRH fits my hand so much better. Don't get me wrong, I would own another SBH if I run across a good deal, but I think I would stay away from the hunter. The only thing I didn't care for was how it felt with a scope mounted (nose heavy). Also, I might opt for a grip frame mod by Huntington if I got another one.

I love the SBHH. I built my two customs off this gun. One is the 500JRH and the other is the 45 Colt. I need one more, and am going to build a 327 Federal for small game. But being built on the same frame makes them easy to shoot!

The grip mod by Huntington is worth its weight in gold.

Both are great guns. If I had to give one up to keep one the SBH would go. The Redhawk is a more versatile tool and I prefer the feel which is purely subjective.

Karl, there's one on gunbroker now. drilled and tapped for a scope mount....for some reason. I have nothing in it, just passing along.
