She and a couple of others were running around in the trees near the house. I was hoping to see the fox squirrel that was with them, but I'm just happy this one stayed still long enough.

That hunting combo that you have there was like my first hunting handgun back in 1989. It was a 1987 MKll with a 21/2-7x28mm Simmons mounted with a Burris no-drill mount. Killed a ton of squirrels with it. MKll wears a Weaver 2x, now...and is still a tack driver.

Also, that old Simmons scope is still alive and kicking 26yrs later and after having had a TON of heavy rounds fired under it...and it still works just like the day it was new.

Anyway, good on ya for being so proficient at killing those pests.
