Changed my 221 from OTT last night from a target forearm to a hunting set and changed the scope from a 6x24 Weaver to a 3x12 Burris pistol scope and got it sighted in for Yote hunting this winter. Changed from Burris Sign rings to Leo rifleman rings and the first shot at 100 was only one inch left after all that. The OTT barrel is a real accurate barrel and first class workmanship.

yes it is.......especially on a 221, BUT it gives that long scope good support and just looks cooler than.....
they also grip n hold extremely well. i removed a scope from this kind of rings and no ring marks showed. i use sticky back label paper for friction pads inside the rings.

nice rig tommy

Nice rig Tommy. That should make a Coyote killer. Tis the season for Coyotes (well at least it has been for me so far). I have managed to take two this week with the 14" .250 Savage SSK COntender with 75gr. Hornady Hollow Points.

Do you call or spot and stalk for Coyotes? Just curious I guess to find out how folks in other parts of the country go after the whiley coyote.

Good luck this winter.

Rube it is a lot of rings for a 221 but I like the looks and price of the Leo rings. I'm changing from the Burris Sig rings to the Leo rings on all my tenders. I can get three sets of the Leo's for the price of one Burris and like Kyle said I haven't had a problem with ring marks either.
