I noticed over in Cottonstalk's thread he mentioned the horrible weather. I'm curious ... How many of you have had poor weather impact your season this year?
The weather here in Southwest Alabama has been aweful. HOT, raining, and muggy. (81 degrees Christmas Day) This weather coupled with an unusually high yield on acorns have really put a damper on the deer hunting. I've almost totally hunted dense patches of timber and thickets close to creeks.
Hopefully, some cooler temps will change things soon!

I've been waiting to do a little hog hunting but it's been 83-85 degree's here in Florida.
It never gets really cold down here but it's been way too hot this season.

The weather here in North Carolina has been mostly hot and wet since thanksgiving week. I and my son were lucky enough to score on six deer each early or it would have been a very slow season. I have not hunted at all this Christmas week because of the weather.
Looks like new years day will be our last shot of good hunting weather since that is the last day of our season.
Despite the bad weather we have had a very good season just not in the last couple of weeks.

Here in South Central Missouri December 19-29 Alternative Weapons Season. We started out with howling winds the first few days. Things were a little better Wednesday and Thursday. Then Friday it started raining, and raining, and raining. It finally stopped Monday the 28th (Today). We had around 10 Inches total. I got to hunt this evening again with howling winds. Tomorrow is the last day. I guess I will hope for better weather. The temperature is supposed to be cold in the morning. Cold being around 25 degrees I believe.

In Indiana it has been either pea soup fog or pouring rain. Our late doe season is in and it is still raining. At this rate it is looking like the first year in over a decade that I have not killed a deer. We have had flooding in many areas. I am thankful for all the good years.

Save for two deer seasons I didn't get to hunt, this has been the worse season I've ever experienced; been hunting for 35 years. That said, I had a blessed season last year with my first black bear, three free range whitetails over 130" and a huge merino ram! Season's not over yet.....

Weather here is crazy, needed a coat late yesterday, could get by with shorts and a t-shirt today. Been like that all season. Friends of mine killed a huge bear on the 19th, couldn't get him all the way out, temps down in upper 30s over night, should still be good, then go back on the 20th to finish recovery temps in mid to upper70a. All the meat spoiled, so sad.

More rain, more warm weather...
Most of my primary hunt club is STILL wet. And by wet I mean wading into my favorite stands.
Weather forecast shows 47 degree high this weekend. The day after deer season closes.

Too warm here in upstate NY as well. In addition to a record breaking cold winter last year and an increase in predators, an increase in tags, a lot of clear moonlight nights that left a moonshadow, made for a tough deer season.

I hunted less this season than any of my previous seasons. The weather was just too warm, rainy, or both. I'm glad I got my buck on the opening day, or this season would have downright sucked.
